Power facilities targeted in the region
Ukraine's energy systems have come under escalating attacks in the past few days

During the night, Moscow's aerial assaults have resulted in power cuts in extensive areas of Ukraine's capital, Kyiv.

Several individuals were hurt while inhabitants in eastern neighborhoods were experienced blackouts and dealt with disruption to water supplies, according to city officials.

Meanwhile, a seven-year-old child was fatally injured in a different assault in the Zaporizhzhia region in the southeastern part, based on information from area administrators.

Moscow has increased strikes on electrical systems over the past few days, while the country's government has demanded "concrete actions" from international partners to exert influence on Russia.

"What is required is not symbolic gestures but strong steps - from the United States, Europe and the major economies - in providing air defence systems and implementing restrictions," mentioned in a social media post.

He said that numerous aerial vehicles and over thirty projectiles attacked energy facilities, labeling such assaults as "premeditated" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as the weather cools.

The energy minister said Russia was "launching a major assault" and maintenance teams were working to repair systems.

A barrage of missiles hit electrical systems and residential structures in Kyiv.

Multiple people injured in the strikes on the capital have been hospitalized, according to local officials.

The whole nation is on alert for sophisticated projectile assaults, which are tougher to identify.

National leaders told journalists that Moscow was intentionally trying to demolish the electrical infrastructure, with strikes already impacting fuel infrastructure.

Officials stated technical personnel and officials were preparing for more assaults.
